Install a dll to GAC in Windows Server 2008

Step -1

 

   Open the command prompt with 'Run as Administrator'.

 

Step - 2

 

   set the path for the gacutil command

 

   >cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0\Bin

 

Step -3

 

   Run the gacutil command

 

  C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0\Bin> gacutil.exe -i  "path to dll"
